Kipling

Small of stature and quick to mischief, the simple, lizard-like Kipling occupy the jungles and caves of the land.

Physical Characteristics

Kiplings range between two and four feet tall. They have large eyes with very large pupils, and can see in the dark well. Cavern-dwelling Kiplings have pale colorations: light orange or red. Jungle-dwelling Kiplings have exotic blue and deep, vibrant red scales.

Temperament

Theirs is a tribal culture. Familial bond is everything to them; Kiplings see their tribe as flesh and blood. To serve their tribe is the ultimate good. To be exiled, the ultimate punishment. Kipling adventurers are exceedingly rare, and are either born of exceptional individualism or have suffered the fate of exile. Occasionally, these outcasts adopt others as their new tribe, and are the fiercest of allies.

Population Centers

Kiplings are found in the tropics and mountainous caverns around the world.

Languages

Kiplings speak their native language, “Kiplingish”, filled with hisses and grunts. Some adventurers have a fleeting grasp of English, though few speak it well.
